Robbits – (Quickspin) Slot Review

Robbits: Slot Overview

In every industry there are trendsetters and those who follow in their footsteps — and the slot world is no different. ELK Studios’ hit Pirots series has clearly inspired other developers, and Quickspin is one of them. Their answer comes in the form of Robbits, a symbol-eating slot where mischievous rabbit thieves hop around the grid, devouring tokens and triggering features. Copycats often struggle to win over players, but Quickspin’s craftsmanship gives Robbits a fighting chance. So how well does this bunny-driven heist actually play?

The name “Robbits” isn’t a typo — these rabbits are literally on the rob, targeting the luxurious Fur Seasons Casino and Hotel. Despite the high-end target, the base game is set in a scruffy underground bunker beneath the casino, decorated like a teenager’s basement complete with an old sofa. The idea seems to be: dig up, break in, grab the loot. Whether it works or not, the playful 80s/90s hip-hop soundtrack and four cheeky rabbits make the setup fun and mischievous rather than gritty.

Robbits is classified as a Cluster-Collect slot, played on a 5×5 grid that can expand to 8×8. Instead of classic cluster wins, the game relies on an eating mechanic instantly recognizable to anyone who has tried the Pirots series. That said, Quickspin adds its own flavor with slick visuals, energetic audio, and character-driven action. The slot runs across four RTP settings, with the top version hitting 96.08%, and volatility sits firmly on the high side. Bets range from $0.10 to $100, or double that if you activate the Extra Bet, which boosts the chance of landing carrots — the key upgrade resource.

On the reels, the four Robbits hop around collecting colored Chips, each worth 0.1x to 2.5x depending on its level. Wild symbols can be collected by multiple rabbits at once and substitute for any Chip symbol, helping chain together bigger hauls.

Robbits – Features Overview

Robbits comes loaded with mechanics built around its Cluster-Collect system, enhanced by Upgraders, Helipads, Carrots, Power Ups, Free Spins, and an optional Feature Buy. Much like ELK’s Pirots, the action revolves around rabbits moving, eating, and triggering chain reactions across an expanding grid.

Cluster-Collect

Each of the four Robbits is linked to a matching coloured Chip. During every spin, rabbits hop to adjacent tiles (up, down, left, or right), collecting Chips and special symbols. Once all characters stop moving, the grid refills via a tumble, and the sequence continues until no new collections occur.

Upgrader & Super Upgrader

All Chips begin at level 1 on each spin.

  • Upgrader: When a rabbit collects one, all Chips of that rabbit’s colour level up by +1 for the remainder of the spin (max 5 levels).

  • Super Upgrader: Works the same way, but upgrades all Chips on the board, regardless of colour.

Each Upgrader can only be used once and disappears after activation.

Helipad

Collecting a Helipad symbol triggers a helicopter extraction at the end of the tumble sequence.

  • Expands the grid by +1 row and +1 column

  • Drops rabbits into new positions

  • Initiates an additional tumble cycle

This is the main way the grid grows from 5×5 up to a maximum of 8×8.

Carrot

Carrots do two key things:

  1. Guarantee a Power Up activation at the end of the tumble chain

  2. Add their multiplier value (x1 to x50) to the collecting rabbit’s multiplier pot

Rabbits can store more than one Carrot before the Power Up triggers. Pots reset at the end of the spin (or at the end of the free spins round).

Power Ups

Once at least one Carrot has been collected, Power Ups activate after all tumbles finish. Each rabbit has its own unique ability:

Red Rabbit

  • Upgrades all red Chips by +2 levels

  • Rabbits swap positions

  • Applies the Red Rabbit multiplier to all rabbits’ collections

Purple Rabbit

  • Converts all adjacent Chips into purple Chips

  • Non-pay tiles are ignored

  • Performs a collect using its stored multiplier

Green Rabbit

  • Collects every Chip on the grid at once without moving

  • All collected values are multiplied by the Green Rabbit’s multiplier

Blue Rabbit

  • Jumps to each rabbit who has blue Chips nearby

  • Collects clusters around those rabbits, using its multiplier

  • All other rabbits temporarily “step aside” and return after the Blue Rabbit is done

Free Spins

Rabbits can also collect scatter symbols.

  • 3 scatters = 6 free spins

  • +1 additional spin for every extra collected scatter

What makes the bonus strong:

  • Grid size, Chip upgrades, and Carrot multipliers carry over from the base game

  • These values continue upgrading throughout the bonus

  • Free spins cannot retrigger

Feature Buy

For 70x the bet, players can buy instant entry into the Free Spins round (triggered with 3–5 scatters).

Robbits: Slot Verdict

Robbits doesn’t hide its inspiration — anyone who’s played ELK’s Pirots series will instantly recognise the “creatures roaming a grid and eating symbols” concept. But rather than feeling like a shallow imitation, Quickspin’s take brings enough personality and mechanical twists to stand on its own.

The game’s charm is undeniable. The four hip-hop-styled rabbits, the underground lair aesthetic, and the energetic 80s/90s soundtrack give Robbits a lively, mischievous personality that sets it apart. Quickspin injects the concept with structure and progression too, thanks to grid expansions, persistent upgrades, and individual multiplier pots that build real anticipation.

Mechanically, Robbits is deeper than it first appears. The interplay between Upgraders, Carrots, Power Ups, and Helipads keeps the action dynamic, and the way rabbits chain-collect symbols makes even base game spins feel alive. The free spins round is where the game really comes together, with carried-over upgrades and multiplier stacks allowing for high-impact moments.

Still, this is very much a volatility-driven grid slot. Spins can vary from uneventful to explosive, and players who dislike the “watch characters walk around” formula may find the pace slow. Its RTP also tops out at 96.08%, which is decent but not exceptional.

Overall, Robbits is a fun, chaotic, and surprisingly strategic evolution of the creature-collect genre, offering plenty of entertainment for fans of Pirots-style gameplay. It might not reinvent the wheel, but it puts enough Quickspin polish on the formula to make it feel fresh — and capable of delivering genuinely exciting runs when the rabbits start popping off.
